I kind of fixated on the text in the bubble before reading the text below... Is that some sort of stylised kana/kanji or made-up scribbles? (I couldn't even make up "日本" on a Japanese passport cover so I wouldn't be surprised if this is meant to be perfectly understandable Japanese

Some of the symbols resemble kana and kanji if you look really hard, but I think it's just gibberish.

I can sorta see ヲ サ 片 ポ and キ...because I am trying to see them.
